I am a Brighton-based portrait photographer focused on capturing the true essence of my models. Getting to know the people I photograph and sharing the creative process, is key to developing the narrative of the photoshoot which results in honest images that empower the subjects.
In love with film photography due to the complexity of the process, I focus on each stage with meticulous attention. Counterbalancing the frantic rhythm of contemporary life, the inherent slowness of film photography provides the time to translate people’s stories into my visual language. Working with 35mm and 120mm film both colour and B&W, I am a versatile professional able to exploit film photography’s incredibly vast range of options.
